I’m Katie Carodine, and I come with a shebang! I’m your local lifestyle photographer in Salem and Portland who adds my crazy creativity into your unique portrait and your couple’s photo session for the best photoshoot experience!
Based in Salem, Oregon, I started my journey as a child who collected Star Wars action figures and dreamed about living like a wild child in the woods. I loved the passion that art brought to my life with drawing and painting. These beautiful moments of my life pushed me to study art for over a decade. While studying my tush off, I picked up a Canon camera for the first time, and that was it! I knew I had found my passion as a photographer.
As an artist, photography allows me to create by combining different art forms into one finely touched image. Bringing several various art forms together and merging them in one moment of time allows me to show the vibrant personalities that I work with daily right here in Salem, OR. Photography is a path for me to celebrate and appreciate each one of my lovelies.
When I am shooting creative and lifestyle photography and professional headshots for my Salem Lovelies, I adore capturing the essence of each person that I shoot because I love crafting a gorgeous form of art with you as the centerpiece. My creations, or artistic photos, primarily focus on portrait photography, couples photography, wedding photography, professional headshots, and crazy creative photography for my lovelies!
Although I photograph wedding photography, portrait photography, family photography, and lifestyle photography in the Salem area, I’m especially drawn towards “Love Stories.” Of course, photographing couples will always be my biggest passion, as capturing that moment of intimacy between two loving people is the most beautiful moment.
